RE-TENSION THE SAW CHAIN TOOL-FREE. Thanks to STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning, you can tension your saw chain quickly and without tools, thanks to the adjusting wheel. Turning the adjusting wheel to the left releases tension on the saw chain, and turning the adjustment wheel to the right tensions the saw chain. The guide bar will be automatically secured when you tighten the sprocket cover.

This set is a good choice if you want to get straight to work at domestic garden care, maintaining outdoor areas around the home or tackling other tasks using the STIHL MSA 70 C-B battery-powered chainsaw, but do not yet own a battery or charger from the STIHL AK-System. In addition to the versatile STIHL MSA 70 C-B, this includes a STIHL AK 30 lithium-ion battery and STIHL AL 101 standard charger. The versatile chainsaw supports you effectively in cutting branches from trees and shrubs, for example, or processing wood. It is so quiet that you can use it without ear protection and even in enclosed spaces and noise-sensitive areas such as residential neighbourhoods.
You can be sure of a clean cut every time, thanks to the powerful, energy-efficient EC motor and the 30 cm cutting attachment which is supplied with the chainsaw as standard, and consists of a STIHL 1/4” P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) chain teamed with a STIHL Rollomatic E Mini guide bar.
Optimal power tool balance as well as the softgrip handle with Ergo lever offer you high comfort and excellent ergonomics. You can use the control lever with potentiometer function for infinitely variable chainsaw speed adjustment. The MSA 70 C-B saw chain can be quickly and safely retensioned without tools, by means of STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning. The additional QuickStop Super chain brake increases your safety, by stopping the chain immediately when you let go of the rear handle. Thanks to the transparent oil tank, you can keep an eye on the oil level at all times.
