The compensator is a control system in the carburettor, which uses pressure compensation to ensure that engine performance, exhaust gas quality and fuel consumption remain virtually constant over a long period of time, despite increasing contamination of the air filter. You do not need to clean the air filter until there is a noticeable drop in performance. This means that you can work for a long time without maintenance.

With the standard, robust STIHL 300-3 brush cutter, you can easily work through upcoming tasks. To make it easier to start, this petrol-powered brushcutter is equipped with the STIHL ErgoStart. This machine also offers you optimum engine performance and a constant maximum speed. The FS 460 is equipped with an ergonomic two-hand handle (mower handle) that supports the natural movement of the scythe so that you can work comfortably even during longer periods of use. Your muscles and joints are relieved by the STIHL anti-vibration system. The engine can be operated entirely using the one-handed multifunction handle, which makes your work easier.
