ERGONOMIC, COMFORTABLE WORKING. The rotatable multi-function handle enables precise and comfortable cutting with your hedge trimmer, both at your side and at head height. It can be rotated 90° to the left and right, and so is also suitable for left-handed and right-handed users. This means the power tool is always in the most ergonomically effective position in your hand.
PREVENTS INADVERTENT DISCONNECTION. Cable strain relief fixes the extension cable securely to the power tool. This will prevent your electrical power tool from accidentally becoming disconnected from the power supply.

The 50 cm bar length version of the STIHL HSE 81 weighs just 4.1 kg. Comfortable operation in various cutting positions is supported by the five-position adjustable, rotatable multi-function handle. If you need some extra reach when working with the electric hedge trimmer, you can use the practical triple switch system by simply moving from the front switch bracket to the rear end of the handle. The double-sidedcutting blades enable you to cut even thick wood in a comfortable position. The laser-cut blades with hardened cutting edges are particularly robust and remain sharp for a long time.
When working near the ground or on walls, the cutting blades are protected against damage by the screw-on tip protector. Meanwhile, integrated cut protection supports your safety when working with the HSE 81 electric hedge trimmer. The cable strain relief function ensures that the power tool does not come unplugged if you pull the cable while working.
The optional, practical STIHL catcher plate allows you to collect cuttings directly on the blade of your STIHL HSE 81 as you work.
