Chain saws - long-life air filtration system

The STIHL MS 261, MS 271, MS 291 and MS 441 professional saws also have a new type of long-life air filtration system with pre-separation that perceptibly relieves the downstream filter components.

Air drawn in is swirled. The larger, heavier particles are thrown to the outside. The pre-cleaned air is routed to the air filter via the pre-separator duct.

The big fabric filter: Ideal in normal operating conditions and for winter duty.

The big HD filter: Specifically for dry and very dusty conditions.
